Job summary

Saramax Apparel Group in New York City seeks a Retail Planning professional to create and maintain financial POS plans for a major retailer and support Walmart planning and forecasting. You will identify trends, opportunities and risks that drive business decisions and help maximize sales and performance through ongoing forecasting.

The role requires strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred and prior apparel industry experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail planning experience.
• Understanding of budgeting, planning and projection processes.
• Previous experience in the retail/apparel industry strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain financial POS plans for a major retailer.
• Partner on Walmart planning and forecasting, including sales and POS analysis.
• Identify, track and analyze sales metrics that impact the business.
• Identify trends, opportunities and risks that will drive business decisions.
• Support ongoing forecasting and planning to help maximize sales and business performance.
