Pharmacy Technician ready to make a real difference in patients' lives from the very first interaction? Banner Home Health is looking for an experienced, self-motivated Pharmacy Tech to step into a brand-new, one-of-a-kind role where your expertise truly matters! In this exciting position, you'll serve as one of the first points of contact for new home health patients — conducting thorough medication histories, reviewing charts, and collaborating with pharmacies and physicians to ensure every patient's care journey starts safely and seamlessly. You'll work across two dynamic systems — Cerner and Home Care Home Base — and connect with up to 10–15 patients daily, making a meaningful impact each and every shift. SCHEDULE:
This position will prepare, dispense, and compound medication under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Provide prescription support services for patients to ensure safe, appropriate, effective and efficient delivery of medication therapy. Provide excellent customer service skills, high attention to detail, strong problem solving, documentation and computer skills. Work closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to support pharmaceutical care activities, complete pharmacy billing activities, record keeping, reporting, inventory management, and arrange appropriate medication delivery.
May require periodic to frequent use of personal computer.
Off-site travel may be required.
