The Retail Pharmacy Technician will maintain both Legend and OTC (Over the Counter) inventory, put medication orders away, process prescriptions, answer phone, run cash register and assist customers.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
One year of pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred and must be registered or have applied for Pharmacy registration after interview prior to start date.
Considerable mental concentration required completing duties. Standing and walking up stairs 50% of shift is required. Light lifting (25lbs) required.
Most of workday spent in Pharmacy, with hourly rounds to Patient Care units. Considerable printer and telephone noise.
