Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. seeks a Retail Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with pharmacy-related duties under direct supervision in our Los Angeles area facilities.

You will perform packaging, manipulative, repetitive tasks and clerical functions in accordance with standards and guidelines. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, California Pharmacy Technician license, and at least one year of experience; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred and BLS certification or higher

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• A Pharmacy Technician License through the California State Board of Pharmacy is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish, preferred.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Job Overview

The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for performing clerical functions.

Minimum Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• A Pharmacy Technician License through the California State Board of Pharmacy is required.

Compensation

$25.00 - $29.32 hourly

Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change.
