Qualifications

• 2+ years relevant experience preferred.
• Must have Indiana Pharmacy Technician License OR intern/extern license if enrolled in accredited college of pharmacy.
• Pharmacy Technician National Certification required unless enrolled in accredited college of pharmacy.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong math calculation skills and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Intermediate typing and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Under pharmacist supervision, supports inventory, preparation, distribution, compounding, processing of medications and supplies.
• Assists with medication processing including phones, refills, data entry, and pharmacist checks.
• Maintains records, orders supplies, and helps with disbursement/delivery as needed.
• Supports reduction of medication errors by following policies and procedures.
