Are you a licensed pharmacy tech looking for a new adventure? Our growing Home Infusion team is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative technician to support our pharmacy department. In this role, you will process medication orders and communicate with patients. Retail pharmacy experience is preferred!

• Monday - Friday, Days
• Rotating shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• No weekends or holidays

We also provide specialty programs for asthma, cardiac, diabetes, orthopedic, and wound care.

The Home Infusion Therapy Department collaborates with physicians, patients, and caregivers to enable patients to receive intravenous medications at home. Our services include 24-hour pharmacy and nursing support, patient education, medication monitoring, and coordination of additional professional services.

Role Purpose

The Pharmacy Technician - Retail 1, reports directly to a staff pharmacist and performs clerical and support duties, including entering data into the pharmacy IT system, selling prescriptions, managing inventory, and completing workflow steps.

Responsibilities

1. Perform clerical duties such as handling tubes & faxes, filing prescriptions, and processing mail and courier prescriptions.
2. Enter customer, insurance, and prescription information; process prescription transfers.
3. Sell prescriptions using the POS system, handle cash, manage payment exceptions, and reconcile cash.
4. Order and manage inventory, stock shelves, rotate stock, organize, remove expired products, perform cycle counts, and handle returns.
5. Complete data entry, contact managers, dispense products manually and via automated systems (Parata and RxSafe), and perform basic compounding.
