Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Retail Fulfillment Pharmacy Manager to supervise pharmacists, technicians, and interns in the Ackerman outpatient setting. You will oversee day-to-day operations and ensure high-quality, cost-effective pharmaceutical care.

You will lead onboarding, performance evaluations, and staff development, while guiding budgeting and staffing. The role requires collaboration with hospital committees and implementing technology to enhance patient safety and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy and Pharmacist registration are required.
• 3 years of relevant experience required; 4-8 years preferred.
• Experience supervising pharmacists, technicians, and interns is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Retail Fulfillment Pharmacy.
• Implement the department's strategic plan and ensure quality patient care.
• Ensure compliance with specialty pharmacy accreditation standards.
• Oversee hiring, orientation and evaluation of staff pharmacists, technicians and interns.
• Assist with budgeting, staffing, and process improvements; participate in technology implementations.
