Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks an experienced Retail Fulfillment Pharmacy Manager to supervise pharmacists, technicians and interns in the outpatient pharmacy fulfillment area. You will lead operations, ensure compliance, manage staffing and budgets, and drive process improvements to deliver high‑quality pharmaceutical care.

Reporting to the department, you will participate in committees, implement new technology, and mentor staff to maintain patient safety and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Registered Pharmacist (licensed).
• 3 years of relevant experience required.
• 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Final candidates subject to background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Retail Fulfillment Pharmacy.
• Hire, orient, and evaluate staff pharmacists, technicians, and interns.
• Identify and resolve service problems and drive improvements.
• Conduct research in pharmacy practice and participate in committees.
• Assist with budgeting and financial management of the department.
• Implement new technology to improve services, patient care, and safety.
