Job summary

Mercy Clinic Pharmacy in Oklahoma City is seeking a Manager-Retail Pharmacy to oversee day-to-day operations and coordinate retail pharmacy services across Mercy locations. You will ensure compliance with all regulations and work with medical staff to implement protocols that optimize safe, cost-effective medication therapy.

You will lead a team with at least 3 years in ambulatory/retail pharmacy and 3 years in management, promoting professional standards, teamwork, and patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
• Experience: 3 years in ambulatory/retail pharmacy and 3 years in management.
• Licensure: Possess or eligible for current Pharmacist Licensure.
• Preferred Certification: State Board of Pharmacy Medication Therapy Services Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement Retail Pharmacy Services at assigned locations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations in Mercy Pharmacy Services (MPS) Company 80 locations.
• Identify potential and existing drug-related problems and take appropriate actions to prevent or resolve them.
• Work closely with the medical staff to design and implement pharmaceutical protocols.
• Facilitate the development and ongoing management of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes using safe, cost-effective medication therapy.
• Ensure the efficient utilization of resources to meet productivity and financial goals.
• Support a compliant and effective 340B drug program.
• Coordinate specialty pharmacy services in collaboration with other pharmacy managers.
• Design, implement and coordinate appropriate marketing programs to attract and maintain customer business.
• Inspire a shared vision, demonstrate the value of change and lead by example.
