Thayer County Health Services is seeking a Retail Staff Pharmacist to contribute to patient care by dispensing prescribed medications and supporting therapeutic outcomes. The role reports to the Retail Pharmacy Manager and Director of Pharmacy.

The successful candidate will hold a Nebraska license, have an ACPE-accredited degree (PharmD preferred), and bring retail pharmacist experience. Strong communication skills are essential, and duties include clinical medication reviews and collaboration

Competenze

ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree; Nebraska license to practice pharmacy.
PharmD degree preferred.
Three years of retail pharmacist experience preferred.
Must have good communication skills; both written and verbal.

Mansioni

Provides specialized pharmaceutical services to improve drug usage and outcomes and advises physicians on drug therapy and dosing.
Oversees preparation and dispensing of all medications within the facilities and ensures orders are accurate and compliant with state and federal rules.
Maintains relationships with medical staff; provides information on pharmaceuticals, drug usage, and regulatory standards.
Performs medication use reviews, assesses patient compliance and outcomes, and educates patients on proper use of prescribed drugs.
Individualizes medication regimens considering pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics to deliver pharmaceutical care.
Ensures medicines are stored securely and inventory is maintained per regulations.
