Job summary

Fred Meyer is seeking a licensed pharmacist to deliver outstanding patient care in a retail pharmacy setting in the United States. You will fill prescriptions, counsel customers, and administer vaccines as needed while maintaining compliance with regulations and sustaining a positive, efficient pharmacy environment.

Ideal candidates will have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, active licensure, and at least one year of retail experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required and active state pharmacist licensure.
• Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work under stress and maintain accuracy in prescriptions.
• Retail pharmacy experience and vaccination administration are desirable.
• Proficiency in math and record keeping to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with accuracy.
• Administer vaccines as needed and provide pharmaceutical care.
• Counsel customers on medications and safety.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws including HIPAA.
• Monitor stock, pricing, and inventory control; ensure equipment is working.
