Job summary

Fred Meyer is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy team in Oregon. You will fulfill prescription needs with a focus on accuracy, and provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.

Vaccinations will be administered as needed, while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and maintaining a clean, efficient work environment. The role requires a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, a current state license, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing.
• Effective oral/written communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs while concentrating on accuracy of every prescription filled.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacies comply with all local, state and federal laws (including HIPAA).
• Maintain a clean, neat work area and presentation to customers.
• Monitor stock replenishment and inventory levels, and enforce company policies.
