Job summary

This role requires AZ pharmacy licensure and immunization certification; BLS may be required; experience in a retail

Qualifications

• Requires pharmacy licensure in the state of practice and a degree in Pharmacy.
• Immunization certification and/or licensure (if state requires) within 6 months of hire.
• Arizona Board wallet card at time of hire is required for AZ.
• Must possess current BLS card and strong organizational, problem solving and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Fills prescriptions accurately and reviews orders in the medication management information system.
• Supervises pharmacy technicians and coordinates workflow.
• Provides counseling to patients and caregivers about medications.
• Oversees day-to-day pharmacy operations including inventory and billing coordination.
• Consults with prescribers to ensure appropriate medication use and resolves issues with orders as needed.
• Oversees all aspects of medication use and compliance with regulations.
