Job summary

Banner Health in Tucson, AZ is seeking a full-time Retail Pharmacy Technician to join the BFP-Tucson Specialty team. You will mainly ring up prescriptions at the front counter, fill prescriptions, take refill orders, manage inventory, and coordinate with the pharmacist to ensure accurate, timely medication delivery.

Qualifications

Requires Pharmacy Technician licensure and active Pharmacy Technician certification OR Pharmacy Intern licensure in the state of practice.
Arizona license wallet card must be provided at hire.

Responsibilities

Review and interpret prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
Prepare and dispense medications under supervision and deliver to patients.
Answer phones, take prescriptions, and communicate with patients.
Assist with inventory and maintain a clean work environment; perform administrative duties.
Follow policies, procedures and regulatory requirements; perform other duties as assigned.
