Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy systems and policies; understanding of state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Comply with Meijer policies, procedures, and state/federal laws.
• Oversee immunization services where allowed; support clinical services.
