Job summary

Health West is seeking a Pharmacist to oversee all Retail pharmacy activities, lead a team, and ensure compliance with Federal and State laws. The role emphasizes clinical leadership, policy implementation, and staff development within a retail pharmacy setting.

The position requires a PharmD or bachelor's in pharmacy, a current state license, and familiarity with pharmacy software systems. Prior experience and 340B program knowledge are highly valued at the Health West facility.

Qualifications

PharmD or bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required.
Current State license in good standing to practice as a registered pharmacist.
Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and basic word processing/computer skills.
Prior pharmacy experience and/or management experience preferred.
Experience with the 340B program preferred (Apexus ACE Cert preferred).

Responsibilities

Oversee clinical/Retail pharmacy operations and supplies.
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and Board of Pharmacy requirements.
Coordinate monthly financial reporting and analysis for pharmacy.
Supervise pharmacists or pharmacy students and assist HR with licensure and CE tracking.
Implement policies and procedures to ensure quality and compliance.
