Job summary

Hannaford Supermarkets, a trusted local market, is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to lead its Highland pharmacy department. You will supervise staff, ensure compliant operations, and work with store leadership on healthcare initiatives.

Responsibilities include immunizations, policy adherence, and delivering outstanding patient care while maintaining confidentiality and high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and be licensed in good standing.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug testing as required.
• Current immunizing pharmacist certification.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers and healthcare professionals.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Managers and associates to operate the pharmacy department.
• Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure adequate staffing and training.
• Identify store-level sales and marketing opportunities with the Store Manager.
• Perform immunizations as per company standards and expectations.
• Maintain compliance with Pharmacy Standard Practice Manual and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and patient counseling.
