Job summary

CHI St. Gabriel’s Health in Minnesota is seeking a Retail Pharmacist to help clinicians safely prescribe and dispense medications, aiding patients in recovery and continued well-being.

You will review every prescription in your queue, checking for drug interactions, dosing accuracy, allergies, or unusual findings, and perform the final safety check beyond the computer system. The role requires a College of Pharmacy degree and Minnesota licensure, with preferred 3 years of pharmacy experience;

• Resolves drug related problems by consulting with other health care professionals to achieve appropriate patient outcomes.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Retail Pharmacist, you’ll help our providers safely prescribe and dispense medications to help our patients feel better and recover from their illness or injury.

Every day, you’ll build trust in these interactions by reviewing every prescription in your queue. We never rely entirely on the computer to check for safety; we always use an expert for the final check. That’s you. You’ll review prescriptions for potential drug interactions, correct dosing, patient allergies or anything that looks unusual in your opinion.

To excel in this role, you must enjoy learning new concepts and researching information in real-time to provide solutions for our patients. You should also continually look for ways to go above and beyond for your patients, delivering an exceptional experience along with exceptional care.

Pay Range

$71.70 - $83.07 /hour
