Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Minnesota is seeking a pharmacist to provide comprehensive clinical care, counsel patients, and manage medication therapy with accurate dispensing and timely service.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active Minnesota Pharmacist License.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and label prescription drug therapy accurately and in a timely manner.
• Bill medications through prescription coverage as appropriate.

Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate clinical care including patient counseling and prospective drug use evaluation to all patients receiving their medication therapy from the pharmacy
• Provide prescription drug therapy to patients ensuring accurate labeling and dispensing of medications in a timely fashion
• Ensure appropriate billing of medication through prescription coverage
• Adminster immunization and perform basic non-sterile compounding following appropriate protocols
• Assist site manager in training and supervision of pharmacy support personnel as necessary
• Maintain proficiency in the skills and theory of the practice of phamracy by reviewing recent literature, attending in-services, seminars, or conferences

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited school of pharmacy
• Active Minnesota Pharmacist License
