Job summary

Qualifications

Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center has an opening for an onsite Retail Pharmacist

As a Pharmacist at SCHHC, you will be responsible for verifying and filling medication orders, monitoring patient medication therapies, providing drug information, identifying and troubleshooting medication safety concerns, documenting interactions for medical review, and supervising and directing support staff. Your role will contribute to the well-being of our patients by ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

Skills, Knowledge, & Experience Requirements:

• Graduated from an accredited school of pharmacy is required.
• A pharmacist license in the state of Oregon is required.
• Registered Pharmacist (RPh) is required.
• All licensure and certifications necessary to perform duties as a Pharmacist in Oregon are required.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree is preferred.
• One year of technical experience is preferred.
• Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to provide exceptional service.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication, and computer proficiency specifically, in Microsoft Office and online software.

This is a Full-Time onsite position that is eligible for benefits. * SCHHC pays the full employee-only amount for Health, Dental, Vision, and Basic Life & AD&D insurance. *
