AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking a Pharmacist to perform professional and clinical duties in dispensing medications at the clinic pharmacy.

The Pharmacist will collaborate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge to support day-to-day operations, directing technicians and ensuring safe, high-quality service to patients. Requirements include a Doctor of Pharmacy with California licensure or FPGEC, 2+ years of experience, and bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in California or FPGEC certification for foreign-trained pharmacists.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience in pharmacy settings.

Job Overview

The Pharmacist will perform professional and clinical duties in the dispensing of medications to patients and clinics.The Pharmacist is responsible for collaborating with the Pharmacist-in-Charge to support the day-to-day operations of a clinic pharmacy, including directing pharmacy technicians and ensuring safe, efficient, and quality service to patients and customers.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a California pharmacist license required, or be certified by the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) issued by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy.
• High Volume Retail Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Compensation

$62.52 - $78.16 hourly
