Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Kentucky is seeking energetic individuals for a Retail Personal Banker I program, with a 4–8 week onboarding including rotations in operations and Sales & Service and a certification at the end.

As a Financial Center role, you will use consultative sales to identify and meet customer needs, process teller transactions, and collaborate with partners to grow new households and deepen relationships.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience with transferable skills.
• Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
• Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer households and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
• Must demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for credit and financial information.
• Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in appearance and communication.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Retail policies and procedures to exercise sound judgment.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration on employment through the NMLS is required.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales to build a customer profile and identify financial needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products and recommend suitable solutions.
• Proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for financial reviews.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and participate in outside sales activities.
• Collaborate with Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment partners to refer customers.
• Meet/exceed customer experience and production goals as part of the Financial Center P&L.
• Provide guidance to CSRs on sales and referrals.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical conduct in all customer interactions.
• Follow policies to open/ service Retail products.
