Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States to support advanced DIY customer needs. You will use store systems, identify parts, and assist with parts sourcing and services such as battery installations and wiper changes.
The role emphasizes customer service, parts knowledge, and the ability to work with inventory and POS systems. ASE certification is preferred but not required; a valid driver’s license is required.
Retail Parts Pro – a professional level sales position capable of supporting advanced functions of the DIY business. The role involves expert knowledge of store systems, advanced automotive system knowledge, part knowledge, and the ability for advanced identification, troubleshooting and project assistance for DIY customers. The role sources parts from numerous places, including special order, FDO, second source. They have in-depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes. Position is full time.
3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience
Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfillment of customer transactions
Must have a valid driver’s license
ASE certification preferred, but not required
Compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
The good faith estimate for this role is between 15.60 USD and 17.35 USD per hour for a new team member. The rate offered depends on factors such as geographic location, experience in retail, automotive knowledge, education, leadership roles, other skillsets, and shift differential if applicable.
