At Office Depot Inc., the Retail Team Lead is a part-time role providing “total solutions” to our customers encompassing Products, Technology, Services, Furniture, and Print offerings. The Retail Team Lead will build and maintain customer relationships, becoming a trusted advisor by utilizing provided training to support sales. This role supports a customer-centric environment, engages with the local community, and contributes to a positive culture aligned with the Office Depot 5C values: Customer, Commitment, Change, Caring, and Creativity. The Retail Team Lead demonstrates a passion for the brand, technology products, furniture, print, and other services/products offered to customers. They will utilize Office Depot Inc.'s proven sales principles to proactively engage customers, drive sales, and assess customer needs to ensure satisfaction.
Through enthusiasm and expertise, the Retail Team Lead helps create and nurture a vibrant sales culture, enhances store visual and merchandising standards, manages freight and logistics activities, and prioritizes customer satisfaction. The role also involves being a part-time ‘Key Carrier’ and may perform Leader on Duty functions, including opening & closing responsibilities and security duties.
