At Office Depot Inc., the Retail Team Lead is a part-time role providing “total solutions” to our customers encompassing Products, Technology, Services, Furniture, and Print offerings. The Retail Team Lead will build and maintain customer relationships, becoming a trusted advisor through provided training. They will support a customer-centric environment, engage with the local community, and contribute to a positive culture aligned with the Office Depot 5C values: Customer, Commitment, Change, Caring, and Creativity. The Retail Team Lead will demonstrate passion for the brand, technology products, furniture, print, and other services/products offered. They will proactively engage customers using Office Depot Inc.’s sales principles to drive sales and assess customer needs to ensure satisfaction.
The role involves creating a vibrant sales culture, maintaining store standards, managing freight and logistics, and prioritizing client satisfaction. The Retail Team Lead may also serve as a ‘Key Carrier’ and perform Leader on Duty functions, including opening and closing the store, and ensuring safety and security.
