Overview

As a Part Time Retail Store Associate at Office Depot, your role is vital to our success. You will engage with customers in a friendly manner, creating a positive shopping experience and driving sales.

You will actively connect with customers, recommend products, and support a customer-centric environment. Your responsibilities include maintaining store standards, supporting visual merchandising, and assisting with freight and logistics activities. You will also receive training in technology and print products/services to assist customers effectively.

The role emphasizes sales, service, and operational excellence, especially in Print and Technology areas. The position may require periodic background checks.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Customer Experience:
   • Engage proactively with customers and promote solutions and additional products/services.
   • Be aware of promotions, advertisements, and loyalty programs.
2. Store Operations:
   • Maintain store appearance and adhere to merchandising standards.
   • Manage freight, inventory, and store organization.
3. Print and Tech Knowledge:
   • Develop product knowledge through training and certifications.
4. Sales Techniques:
   • Follow company policies, support loss prevention, and perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No experience required; basic computer skills are necessary.

• Ability to read, count, and write for documentation and inventory processing.
