Overview

As a Part Time Retail Store Associate at Office Depot, your role is vital to our success. You'll engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, creating a positive shopping experience while driving sales.

In this position, you will actively connect with customers, addressing their needs by recommending products, services, and solutions. You will help create and nurture a vibrant sales culture, maintain visual and merchandising standards, and support freight and logistics activities. Supporting a customer-centric environment and engaging with the local community are also key aspects of this role. Additionally, as an entry-level Store Associate, you will receive training in technology and print products/services to assist customers effectively. Applying sales principles, you will contribute to our business growth.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Customer Centric Experience:

2. Store Operations Commitment:
   • Maintain store and print department appearance according to guidelines.
   • Ensure signage, labeling, and merchandise presentation standards are met.
   • Follow sorting, stocking, and freight processes, keeping areas organized.
   • Investigate and fill inventory lows and outs daily.
3. Print and Tech Expertise:
   • Develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through training and certifications.
4. Sales Techniques:
   • Ensure compliance with company policies and support loss prevention.
   • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to access information electronically.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read, count, and write for documentation and inventory processing.
• Client-focused, positive, engaging, and action-oriented with a passion for the brand.
