Overview

As a Part Time Retail Store Associate at Office Depot, your role is vital to our success. You will engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, creating a positive shopping experience while driving sales.

You will actively connect with customers, address their needs by recommending products, services, and solutions, and help create a vibrant sales culture. You will support store standards, logistics, and customer satisfaction while being trained in technology and print products/services to assist customers effectively. Your role is key in driving sales and delivering exceptional service, especially in Print and Technology.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Customer Experience:
   1. Engage proactively with customers to ensure a positive experience.
   2. Promote sales of products and services using the selling program.
   3. Be aware of current promotions and loyalty programs.
2. Store Operations:
   1. Maintain store and print department appearance per guidelines.
   2. Ensure proper signage, labeling, and merchandise presentation.
   3. Follow sorting, stocking, and freight processes.
   4. Organize freight sorting areas.
   5. Manage inventory levels daily.
3. Print and Tech Expertise:
   1. Develop personal sales skills and product knowledge through training.
   2. Obtain necessary certifications if required.
4. Sales Techniques:
   1. Follow company policies and support loss prevention.
   2. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No previous experience required.
