Retail--Part Time Customer Experience Manager

Join us as a Retail--Part Time Customer Experience Manager at Michaels Stores.

Position Details

Location: Store - WICHITA-MAIZE RD, KS

Deliver a customer-centric shopping experience by managing front-end operations, leading omnichannel processes, maintaining store recovery standards, and providing friendly customer service.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist Store Manager in ensuring compliance with SOPs, company policies, and standards; hold team accountable for store conditions and results.
  2. Ensure all front-end policies are followed; manage team KPIs and achieve store KPIs.
  3. Plan and execute in-store events and class activities.
  4. Lead omnichannel initiatives.
  5. Manage shrinkage and safety programs.
  6. Assist with cash reconciliation, bank deposits, and inventory processes including RTV and ASN activities.
  7. Support onboarding and training of new team members; participate in performance management and talent development.
  8. Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
  9. Interact positively with customers, assist with locating products, and provide solutions.
  10. Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and cross-training in custom framing sales and production.
  11. In stores without a Framing Manager, lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions, planning and managing workloads.
Qualifications and Skills

Retail management experience preferred. Ability to remain standing for long periods, move throughout the store, and lift heavy items. Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings. Reasonable accommodations available upon request.

  • Climate-controlled areas, some outdoor work, and stock rooms.
