Job summary

MeMe’s Upscale Consignment Boutique is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily store operations, assist with intake, merchandising, and customer service on the sales floor.

The role requires strong data-entry accuracy, friendly communication, retail experience, and ability to lift items up to 25 lbs; starting as temp-to-hire with 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Strong data-entry and accuracy required for entering descriptions, prices and categories.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent communication for customers and consigners.
• Experience in fast-paced retail and using POS systems.
• Previous retail and consignment exposure preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to lift/move items up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Data Entry & Inventory Management: enter product details, prices, and categories in POS system.
• Consigner Intake Appointments: greet consigners and process intake paperwork.
• Sales & Customer Service: assist customers, operate register, handle returns per policy, keep floor tidy.
