Job summary

Nouria Energy Corporation is seeking a Sales Associate to support the daily operation of our Dover gas station and convenience store. You will engage customers, handle transactions, and promote specials while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires friendly, professional interaction, accurate cash handling, and adherence to safety and identification verification policies. Flexible scheduling is expected to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• Read, understand and write English at an 8th-grade level.
• Perform arithmetic calculations at an 8th-grade level for change and reporting.
• Ability to validate identification for tobacco/alcohol sales as required by regulations.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and carry cases of milk, beverages and other products.
• Able to work in varying temperatures and environments (coolers, outdoors, store).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prolonged periods of standing and computer use.

Responsibilities

• Provide the best customer experience to every customer.
• Greet customers with a smile and sincere greeting; suggest purchases and promote specials.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Prepare shift reports at the end of the shift per guidelines.
• Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and appearance; report accidents or incidents.
• Support safety and health programs and follow company policies.
