Qualifications

• Read, understand, and write the English language at the eighth-grade level.
• Perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth-grade level to make change and complete shift reports.
• Ability to validate identification prior to selling tobacco and/or alcohol as required.
• Can lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Ability to remain calm and respond according to policies in emergencies.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate the store during the shift in accordance with company policy to contribute to profitability.
• Communicate verbally and in writing with management on store operations in a timely manner.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner; prepare a shift report at shift end.
• Provide the best customer experience and greet customers with a smile; suggest purchases and promotions.
