Qualifications

• Read, understand, and write the English language at the eighth-grade level.
• Perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth-grade level to make change and complete shift reports.
• Ability to validate identification prior to selling tobacco and/or alcohol as required by regulations.
• Can lift up to 30 pounds and carry cases of milk and beverages.
• Ability to remain calm and respond according to policy in emergencies.

• Suggest possible purchases and promote specials.
• Take ownership of the customer service program at the site level.
