Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee security operations, post reviews, and client liaison in an organized, compliant manner.

You will lead a team of Security Specialists, ensuring adherence to post orders and regulations while coordinating responses to incidents. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years in security management or supervision, with state guard certification and client certifications as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of five years in safety and security management or supervision, law enforcement, military, or security control room supervision.
• State guard certification required and any client certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with client’s corporate management to ensure proper use and execution of security programs.
• Oversee a team of Security Specialists and coach them on post orders.
• Manage and coordinate security operations and programs in the assigned area.
• Respond promptly to emergent events, issues, deficiencies and client requests.
• Initiate investigations and write incident reports as directed.
• Maintain accurate records including timekeeping and daily activity reports.

About the role:The Shift Supervisor manages operations and functions in assigned areas including post reviews, emergency response, client liaison, post order compliance reviews, badging, access control and special projects as assigned. The Site Supervisor performs all duties in accordance with client policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.
