Meijer in Hamilton, OH is seeking a store leadership professional to plan, direct, and supervise day-to-day operations across departments, mentor staff, and drive customer service and sales while upholding Meijer standards.

This role emphasizes staffing, hiring, promotion decisions, and consistent training to maintain a safe, customer-focused environment. You will collaborate across departments and contribute to meeting profitability and shrink goals.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in meat, bakery, produce and deli; customer service and product flow experience helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate to team members with clear direction.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict by addressing root causes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial information for informed decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor staff.
• Successful completion of all required certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Staffing, selection, and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promotes succession planning and career paths.
• Responsible for P&L, achieving sales and reducing shrink.
• Models courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.
• Mentors and coaches the team to exceed service and sales goals and maintain standards.
• Communicates the Meijer Friendly Initiative in team meetings and conversations.
• Maintains store appearance and Meijer standards during prime hours.
• Promotes a safe work environment with reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
