Job summary

CVS Health in Austin, TX is seeking an Operations Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a CVS/pharmacy store, drive performance, and deliver exceptional customer service while building loyalty. You will supervise the store crew, manage sales and inventory, oversee staffing and training, and help implement policy and financial controls.

The role requires flexibility, strong communication, and prior retail leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, advanced analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills, leadership, supervision, and influencing skill.
• Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.
• Experience as a retail manager or supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Lead others and work effectively with store crews
• Supervise, assign and direct activities of the store’s crew
• Effectively communicate information to store crew and supervisors in an open and timely manner
• Support Store Manager with action plans for operational and service improvement
• Assist customers with their questions, problems and complaints
• Promote CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, and thank)
