Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a high-performing team and drive top-line sales growth in a retail store setting. You will oversee a Merchandise Manager and Task Associates, manage realignments, planograms, and inventory cycles, while upholding compliance and exceptional guest service.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, people development, and process discipline to deliver strong store performance and customer experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
2-3+ years of fast-paced retail management or similar experience.
Financial management: driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, payroll budgets, and expenses.
Retail management: ability to monitor inventory, execution of merchandising directives.
Leadership management: attracting, developing, and motivating a team.

Responsibilities

Promote a culture of accountability to meet store goals on sales, loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink.
Drive profitability through operational excellence and cost control.
Review and react to financial and operational reporting and audits.
Lead and develop the store team, provide coaching, and conduct performance reviews.
Ensure inventory life-cycle processes and planograms are properly executed.
