Job summary

Ulta Beauty, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager for a store in California. The OM will lead a team of Task Associates and the Merchandise Manager, directing daily operations, inventory life cycle, and planograms to drive top-line sales.

You will develop talent, ensure compliance, and deliver exceptional guest experiences while managing scheduling, payroll budgets, and performance metrics. This role requires a passion for operational excellence and a full-time schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of fast-paced retail management or other relevant work experience.
• Financial management: drive top-line sales, interpret reporting data, manage payroll budgets.
• Retail management: monitoring inventory levels, achieving operational excellence, driving a service culture, and following merchandising directives.
• Leadership management: experience attracting, developing, and motivating a team and leading others through change.

Responsibilities

• Promote accountability to meet or exceed store goals for sales, guest loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence, top-line sales growth, and expense control.
• Use forecasting and payroll data to schedule to maximize productivity and meet payroll budgets.
• Review financial and operational reports and act on results.
• Lead and develop staff through training, feedback, and performance reviews.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to boost guest engagement.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and dress code; maintain store standards.
• Communicate with field leadership on trends, opportunities, and challenges.
