Garage Clothing invites an Operations Assistant Manager to join our team, reporting to the Store Manager. The role focuses on maximizing sales, maintaining stockroom organization, and managing inventory through shipments, replenishment, e-comm orders, markdowns, and merchandising to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

You will influence day-to-day operations, optimize inventory, enhance sales, and ensure adherence to brand and visual standards, becoming a vital part of our store’s

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline, an asset.
• 2 years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment.
• Has passion for fashion.
• Demonstrate organizational and time management skills, as well as decision making abilities.
• Demonstrate flexibility, innovation and sense of urgency in identifying and reacting to the changing business environment by contributing impactful ideas and solutions.
• Be curious and creative, striving for ways to simplify processes & procedures.
• Demonstrate the ability to promote an environment that encourages participation, creativity and learning by sharing best practices and building on the ideas of others.
• Build partnerships and prioritize collaboration, takes a proactive approach to all tasks.
• Social Media Skills, Mobile Device Skills, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or Open-Office.
• Availability to work a on flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as per business needs.

Responsibilities

• Maximize store sales and profitability by maintaining stockroom organization and managing inventory.
• Process shipments, replenish sales floor, fulfill E-comm orders, and merchandise to provide an outstanding shopping experience.
