GENERAL SUMMARY

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, mentoring team members to provide fast and friendly service, and ensuring every customer has a great shopping experience.

Requirements:

• Maintain a courteous, friendly attitude
• Stock and restock inventory merchandise throughout the facility
• Check in vendor deliveries
• Minimum of one year retail experience
• General computer knowledge
• Complete required paperwork including shift reports, gas reconciliation, cigarette counts, etc.
• Assist in training team members
• Assist the Store Manager as needed

Additional Info:

• Ability to read, write, and operate electronic equipment and process sales transactions
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to stand at all times
• Ability to kneel, lift, and bend up to 25 pounds
• Willingness to work any shift within operational hours and weekends
• Must be 18 years or older
• Own reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Maintain physical cleanliness, safety, and attractiveness of store facilities
• Perform related duties as required
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Access all areas of the store
• Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Prolonged standing and working at a cash register
