Job summary

Enmarket is seeking a Sales Associate to operate the station during shifts, ensuring profitable store operation and great customer service. The role emphasizes friendly, efficient service, adherence to safety programs, and accurate shift reporting.

Qualifications

• Read, understand, and write the English language at the eighth-grade level.
• Perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth-grade level to make change and balance shift duties.
• Validate identification prior to selling tobacco and/or alcohol as required by regulations.
• Lift up to 30 pounds and carry cases of milk and beverages.
• Remain calm and respond according to policies during emergencies.
• Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Work in varying temperatures (coolers, outdoors, store).
• Perform general housekeeping duties as needed.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Work a flexible schedule and communicate changes to management.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Prepare a shift report at the end of the shift.
• Greet every customer with a smile and sincere greeting.
• Suggest purchases and promote specials.
• Ensure safe operation and execution of the customer service program at the site.
• Maintain safety and security of the store and environment.
