You will greet customers, assist with purchases, promote specials, and help maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment. Flexible scheduling and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Read, understand and write English at an eighth-grade level.
• Perform basic arithmetic for making change and reporting.
• Able to validate identification for tobacco/alcohol sales as required.
• Lift up to 50 pounds at times; carry cases of milk and beverages.
• Remain calm and follow policies in emergencies; work in varying temperatures.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prolonged standing and desk work.

Responsibilities

• Work a flexible schedule as needed.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Prepare a shift report at shift end per guidelines.
• Provide the best customer experience to every customer.
• Greet customers with a smile and sincere greeting; promote specials.
• Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and appearance; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Promptly report accidents, injuries, or incidents.
• Complete new employee safety orientation.
