Join Our Team as a Retail Merchandising Supervisor at Staples Stores

We are hiring immediately for a Retail Merchandising Supervisor role at Staples Stores. After applying, you may have the opportunity to schedule an in-person interview within minutes.

Responsibilities include:

1. Processing accurate and efficient inventory controls such as Zero Balance, Return to Vendor, Return to Warehouse, Cross Channel Returns, and Reserve online pick up in store.
2. Executing all product activities including truck unloading, sorting, stocking, and maintaining stock levels.
3. Implementing weekly planograms and seasonal promotional merchandising changeovers.
4. Delivering exceptional customer service and engaging with customers using basic selling skills.
5. Maintaining a neat and clean store environment to create an inviting atmosphere.
6. Performing front-end duties such as cashiering, handling returns, and online reservations.
7. Providing store leadership when scheduled as the “Manager on Duty”.
8. Performing other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on store needs.
• Understanding of merchandising and retail operations.
• Experience managing and coaching a team or supervising others.
• Effective communication skills to engage and understand customer needs.
• Ability to multitask and handle priorities with limited supervision.
• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull materials up to 100 pounds, climb ladders, and stand/walk continuously.
• Ability to work in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflict cooperatively.
• Integrity and honesty in handling customer and business information.
• Preferred but not required: Key holder experience within a retail environment.
