Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is hiring a Retail Associate at HomeGoods in North Olmsted, OH. You will execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensure efficient processing, and maintain a clean, organized store environment while delivering an excellent customer experience.

You must be able to work nights and weekends, train others, and lift heavy objects if needed. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience
• Ability to train others and mentor Associates
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards and ensure Associates are processing efficiently
• Orchestrate truck delivery and prioritize merchandise flow to the sales floor
• Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Communicate with management to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor
• Monitor team productivity and coach as necessary
• Organize and rotate back stock for replenishment
• Maintain merchandising philosophy and signage standards
• Promote safety and maintain a clean backroom area
• Support credit and loyalty programs and shrink reduction initiatives
• Provide progress updates to management and recognize good performance
