Job summary

TJX Companies’ HomeGoods store in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring a Retail Associate to support receiving, merchandising, and customer service. You will help maintain an organized sales floor, train new Associates, and ensure safety and company standards are met.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership exposure, with strong communication and multitasking abilities. The role is on-site with a competitive hourly wage and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean, organized store
• Mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles
• Ensure merchandise is tagged, hung, and stocked correctly
• Coordinate with management to ensure smooth flow of goods to the sales floor
• Support store shrink reduction goals and safety programs
