Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. seeks a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Middletown, OH to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering a positive experience for communities served. You will focus on merchandising and processing freight while upholding company standards.

You'll assist with all store functions, open/close procedures, protect assets, ensure clean, safe environments, and drive sales through effective product placement and customer service. This role is full-time.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives and related communications.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock as needed.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
