Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Deerfield Beach, FL to partner with the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering positive experiences for customers and communities.

You will focus on merchandising, freight processing, and ensuring store presentation meets company standards. The role requires strong communication, previous retail or management experience, and the physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain store areas to company standards (stockroom and sales floor).
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Process receipt and return of DSD merchandise.
• Manage freight flow in line with productivity standards.
• Order and stock merchandise, including frozen/refrigerated items.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective.
• Plan, merchandise, and maintain Clip Strips/Power Panels.
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners.
