Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking an on-site Sales Associate at HomeGoods in Canton, OH. You will contribute to a positive customer experience, support product flow from trucks to sales floor, and mentor team members in store operations.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Able to multi-task and adapt to changes in direction
• Team player able to work with peers and supervisors
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Orchestrates truck delivery and replenishment of merchandise
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Communicates with leadership to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor
• Maintains backroom organization and recovery standards
• Promotes safety and adheres to labor policies and procedures
• Supports store shrink reduction goals and credit/loyalty programs
