Michaels Stores is seeking a Merchandise Manager for the Selma, TX store to drive merchandising execution, pricing, and store readiness. You will manage shelf sets, planograms, promotions, and inventory control to deliver a customer-focused shopping experience.

The role requires 3+ years of retail leadership, effective team coaching, and collaboration with store leadership to align staffing with business needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to manage SOPs and company programs.
• Strong inventory and merchandising discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead adherence to SOPs and company programs to ensure legal compliance and performance.
• Ensure policies are executed and store conditions meet standards.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow to sales floor.
• Plan workload and daily tasks with store leadership for staffing alignment.
• Drive in-stock levels through Store-In-Stock Optimization routines.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain customer-ready store environment including backroom organization.
• Manage inventory accuracy, stock movement, and shrink reduction.
• Execute and monitor ad sets, pricing changes, and promotions.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes.
