Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to work with the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering positive experiences for the communities we serve. You’ll focus on merchandising, processing freight, and ensuring store standards.

This role requires strong communication and leadership, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and a commitment to safety. Full-time position located at 2403 Veterans Blvd, Del Rio, TX.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Open/close procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process freight and manage merchandise flow per productivity standards.
• Execute monthly Sales Planners and merchandising plans.
